Join us for Theatre Camps at Alderney Landing!

We offer two sessions in the Summer and one week-long session over March Break for campers aged 5-12 in an inclusive, supportive and casual environment. Camps explore various drama skills like movement, improv, dance, singing, story-creation, voice, and script work.

Our Theatre Camps are a highlight of our programming, and we look forward to seeing their Friday matinees all year long!

Join Ella + Emma for a week of theatre camp at Alderney Landing! Campers will take part in a fun program that will culminate in a Friday afternoon performance set in the Alderney Landing Rotunda. Everyone from the already-theatre loving to the theatre curious are welcome!

Ella + Emma are an artistic duo creating theatre for young audiences. They are graduates of the Fountain School of Performing Arts, and each hold a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre (Acting) and Certificate in Dance & Movement. Ella + Emma create interactive work from a queer, neurodivergent lens, and strive for radical accessibility and inclusion in their art-making. They value ongoing collaboration with additional artists. Their cumulative expertise includes education and workshops for all ages, professional drag artistry, intimacy direction/coordination, specialized dance and movement, and music arts.

THEATRE CAMP INFORMATION

Age range is 5-12.
Camps run Monday to Friday from 8:30am - 4:30pm at Alderney Landing Theatre in Dartmouth.
Weekly registration fee ($250) includes supervision, instruction and supplies.
A $10 discount per week is available for additional children registered from the same family.
Extended care is available: Early Drop off from 7:30am ($25) + Late Pick up until 5:30pm ($25)

Throughout the week, campers will explore the fundamentals of improv, learn from experienced guest choreographers, sing, write and direct their own theatre productions! This all leads up to a Friday afternoon performance followed by personalized awards! Campers will have the opportunity to have their headshots taken, participate in themed days, and make their own props and costumes in a supportive, inclusive, and casual environment.
