Miss N Me
March 14 - 24, 2019

A new play by Catherine Banks
Directed by Laura Vingoe-Cram

Miss N Me is a theatrical road trip through the human psyche. It follows Dawna, a hairdresser, on a wild journey to meet hip hop icon Missy Elliott. Along the way she encounters a collage of characters that will change her life forever. Told through dance and sound, Miss N Me is about the overcoming of one’s doubts and fears through the power of music. It’s a show for anyone that believes that art has the capacity to heal and transform us.

Miss N Me was nominated for four (4) 2020 Robert Merritt Awards.
Aaron Collier for Outstanding Sound Design
Keke Beatz for Outstanding Original Score or Composition
Emlyn Murray for Outstanding Costume Design
Tracy Fanous for Outstanding Choreography (WINNER)
