The STAGES Theatre Festival is a two-week festival of theatre, presenting shows at different stages of development, by artists at different stages of their careers, through a variety of productions, workshops, and play-readings. While we primarily focus on Atlantic Canadian theatre companies, we also invite shows from out of province. The Festival works to nurture new work through a series of workshops and events designed to inspire, guide and support the writer.
This year's festival will take place from May 18 - 31, 2020, with the majority of shows and events happening at Neptune’s Scotiabank Stage (1593 Argyle Street, Halifax).
