SuperNova Theatre Festival

April 29-May 9, 2010
Neptune’s Studio Theatre

The 16th Annual SuperNova Theatre Festival was our most successful to date, with a new home at Neptune’s Studio Theatre and a sizeable increase in attendance. The 17th installment of Atlantic Canada’s national professional theatre festival blasts off April 29-May 9, 2010, again in the heart of Halifax’s entertainment district.

SuperNova features an eclectic line-up of innovative theatre, dance and special events that make it an 11-day entertainment extravaganza.  The best and brightest touring productions from across the country take centre stage alongside equally thrilling homegrown fare.  Last One Standing, a break-dance competition and the Ten-Minute Play Contest reach out to the next generation of performing artists, while a series of
workshops engages the Halifax theatre community.
