Eastern Front Theatre explores and celebrates the human condition in relation to our place in the world.  Based in Halifax we develop, support, produce and present plays, especially championing original works by Atlantic Canadian artists. With a long history in the region, Eastern Front brings experience and maturity to our new play development program and a rich knowledge of the ideas that matter to Nova Scotians. Through our own productions, and the presentation of dynamic works from across Canada at the SuperNova Theatre Festival, we stimulate and entertain our audience while challenging the local theatre com­munity with work that is provocative, innovative, and of the highest standard. We are dedicated to mentoring the next generation of theatre artists from across the region and are conscious of the important legacy we create with every new season of work.
