Extraordinary Extinction Song

Our first show of the season, Ron Jenkin’s award winning Extinction Song premiered at Edmonton’s Citadel Theatre in March 2009.  The show won Edmonton Theatre Awards (Sterlings) for Outstanding New Play and Outstanding Production.

We are thrilled that Ron will reprise his Sterling nominated performance for Eastern Front Theatre.  You might recognize Ron from three years of stellar sketch comedy on MAD TV.

The Passion of Adèle Hugo is a new musical based on the outrageous true story of Victor Hugo's daughter’s doomed obsession with a rakish British soldier that causes her to run away from home and follow him halfway around the world, relentlessly pursuing him until the force of her passion destroys them both. The show is epic in scope and features charged emotions and a virtuosic score that filters the world of the 19th century through a contemporary lens.
